Visiting Oslo

Hello

I am passing through Oslo this weekend. Saturday evening til Monday early afternoon.

Would be interested in meeting someone for a coffee or beer who is of a similar mind as far as politics / economics is concerned.

I am starting a blog soon I hope and wish to write about Norway while I am passing through.

Areas I am particularly interested in are the Norwegian economy and the global downturn and the EU - as far as Norway is concerned. I am interested in politics generally so other subjects would also be welcome.

About me - from Scotland, involved in UK politics - stood for parliament. I am in sympathy with the Austrian School.

My only plans so far are to meet someone for a beer on Sunday evening and maybe catch some football on the TV early Saturday evening. Apart from that I'll just be thinking about tourist things so am pretty flexible about meeting for a beer somewhere in the centre of Oslo anytime til early Monday afternoon.
