Battered Blair reshuffles Cabinet

Tony Blair has begun a Cabinet reshuffle after Labour suffered a drubbing in the local council elections.

In the party’s worst electoral bloodbath since Mr Blair came to power, Labour lost more than 250 councillors across England as well as control of 16 town halls.
